My Philosophy

Radhika Machetti is a renowned international Fashion Designer and Serial Entrepreneur based in California and Bengaluru with a proven track record of business growth. She has been recognised as Global Leading Expert in Design, Innovation and Sustainability. She has done Bachelors in Fashion Design at NIFT (National Institute Of Fashion Technology), India’s premier institute in fashion. She has a total 21+ years of professional experience working in the fashion industry, design, buying, business development, and fashion retail. She has worn many hats during her career – Leader, Entrepreneur, Director, Creative head, Strategist, and Design head. She is adept in fashion design, branding, fashion communication, concept creation, driving retail expansion, business development, industry network, store rollout, and relationship management. She has been addressing events as an eminent speaker, jury member, and mentor for start-ups, incubators, and women entrepreneurs. She takes Expert Sessions at NID (National Institute of Design), India’s prestigious institute in design and at NIFT, Delhi on topics related to design, innovation, sustainability, technology, blockchain, entrepreneurship, etc.
She is accredited by the UNITED NATIONS as an Expert, highlighting her recognised expertise and accomplishments. She contributes to shaping global discussions and policies to achieve UN SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). She participated as an Expert in the meeting for the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) Policy Recommendation 49 initiative. She also participated as an Eminent Speaker at the UNITED NATIONS, 62nd Session Of The Commission For Social Development’ conference. She is a successful visionary NFT artist and creator of SolarFunks, an exquisite series of 5000 NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
She is the brainchild and Co-Founder of 3 companies that deal with fashion retail, design, and innovations. During which, as Director and Managing Partner, she successfully implemented the Company’s policies, operational systems, & procedures and gained cross-functional experience. She acquired exemplary experience through the companies that she co-founded in regards to leadership qualities, managerial skills, business governance, setting up entrepreneurship, making high – level decisions, recruiting and monitoring teams, detecting new business opportunities, handling the shareholders and investors, managing the industry network, budgeting, financial planning, safeguarding the Company’s position in the market, improving performance levels, and evaluating and analysing the organization’s success.
At the onset of her career, she has worked many years as Design Head, leading design teams in export houses and buying offices. During which she dealt with various international brands (US & Europe) in all categories: casualwear, sportswear, activewear, and formal wear catering to men, women, and kids.
